Reply to "Who was in the Mars and Maldek wars?"

2010, after my service as a cultural liaison in the middle east. I was transported to one of the Martian outposts where I studied artifacts with some very interesting characteristics. Like I said, it was mostly debris from ancient Martian soldiers' camps. Mars was definitely a very cosmopolitan place once, sort of a hub for the galaxy's diverse intelligences. This was all under the supervision of the USMC (not the Navy like the better known SSP arms) and I was kept on a very short leash there. They used to drive me in a buggy out to the dig site and I was always blindfolded so I couldn't find my way back on my own.

I was there about 9 months. They use a different calendar though, and I'm terrible at math. My specialty was cultural and physical anthropology but that was mostly a cover for xenoanthropological research connected to the Marine Corps program.
