@Saoirse i will add the history of irish stick fighting due to the topic. This guy did atleast a 18 video series.
The history of Irish stick fighting, and the art of crafting these tools is interesting indeed @Eclipse
In this motivational video @Stormm demonstrates a variety of one handed weapons, including a sword AND a stick! https://youtu.be/xbsaMnoRSN4
@Saoirse yeah i ran into stormm's channel. i think he has some great videos. so thanks @Stormm
i have training nunchuck myself but its more like a toy. i prefer fixed weapons like stick that transfers to sword or staff. plus chinese fist and thoughts on chi energy. then of course things that ultras are told about is a interest. like accuracy and keeping your gear in working order.
its actually a shame that schools seem to want you to train solo during the plandemic. of course its safer to not spar and do partner drills but thats not the best as far as learning. so i have to figure out how to have normal growth in the martial arts. oh well.
It's actually MUCH safer to actually spar with other students, no matter what flu is present. Without actually DOING a technique in it's proper context, there is no learning at all. Your "reptilian brain" requires the repetition to become a proper "dragon".
